I met Janet towards the end of last year. She had stopped by the studio as most brides-to-be do to inquire about our services. She brought her beautiful mother who has an even more beautiful soul and it was a match from moment one. Their roots are in the magnificent hills of central Mexico where family in numero uno – very much like our beloved Tuscany. That’s where Mike comes in. An Italian through and through, Mike and I met in Pittsburgh. I had photographed their engagements session at their historic home in Mt. Lebanon. The wedding day was a bit warm. June warm in Florida. But never have I felt so warm as their welcome. As if I had been a part of the family forever. The familiar words in my wife’s Italian family “did you eat?” was asked countless times. No better way of making me feel right a home. Janet and Mike, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day.
